The GYEON Q2M Rotary Wool Heavy Cut is the ultimate weapon for removing the toughest paint defects with a rotary polisher. This pad is manufactured from a high-quality blend of natural lamb's wool and synthetic fibers, resulting in an extremely high "cut" (cutting force). Thanks to the density of the wool fibers, the polishing paste is utilized optimally and the surface temperature remains more controllable than with traditional foam pads of comparable aggressiveness.
It is specifically designed to effortlessly remove deep scratches, heavy oxidation, and sanding scratches up to grit P1500, making it an indispensable tool for the first step in a complete paint correction.

How do you use the Q2M Rotary Wool Heavy Cut?
Attach the wool pad to a suitable backing pad of a rotary polisher. Apply a generous amount of coarse polishing paste, such as Q2M Compound+, to the pad and "prime" the wool by lightly massaging the paste into the fibers. Work at a relatively low speed (between 600 and 1200 RPM) and keep the machine moving constantly to limit heat buildup. Wool cuts very quickly, so apply only light pressure and let the fibers do the work. After each section, use a pad brush or compressed air to "open" the wool fibers again and remove accumulated polishing residue.
Because a wool pad can leave a dull appearance (haze) or slight holograms, a second step with a finer pad and polish (such as Q2M Polish) is always required for a perfect high gloss.
