GYEON Q2R GELCOAT

What is so special about the Q2R Gelcoat?

GYEON Q²R GelCoat is a revolutionary ceramic coating specifically developed to protect the unique structure of gelcoat on boats and yachts. Due to the high porosity of gelcoat, traditional coatings are often ineffective, but this formula offers an extremely dense and durable barrier against intense UV radiation, salt water, and oxidation. The coating enhances the color depth and gloss of the hull, while its superior hydrophobic properties ensure that dirt and algae adhere less easily.

This makes the regular maintenance of the vessel considerably easier and prevents the gelcoat from turning yellow or becoming dull over time due to the influences of the maritime environment.

MANUAL

How do you use Q2R Gelcoat?

Ensure optimal adhesion by first thoroughly polishing the surface and then completely degreasing it with a product such as Q²R Degrease. Apply a generous amount of Q²R GelCoat to the applicator and distribute the product using criss-cross movements over a section of up to one square meter. Due to the specific properties of gelcoat, the coating may rest slightly longer than with automotive paint, but it must be buffed immediately with a clean microfiber cloth as soon as the product starts to "sweat" or after a maximum of three to five minutes.

Preferably work with two people on large surfaces to ensure an even finish, and allow the treated surface to dry and cure for at least twenty-four hours before the vessel comes into contact with water.
